Our Story
Launched with the vision of making collections, simpler, faster and easier with diginity to the borrower, spocto was founded by Sumeet Srivastava and Puja Srivastava in 2017.
Sumeet has over 21 years of experience in several geographies and business segments. In Sumeet's career, he has continuously demonstrated how businesses can leverage focus areas such as Cloud, Mobile Technology, and Analytics to give companies the upper hand across domains.
Gaurav Kumar is the founder of Yubi - world’s first unified credit platform. His vision for Yubi is to transform India’s institutional debt market through technology. Set to revolutionise and deepen debt markets, the platform’s end-to-end comprehensive suite of debt products helps in seamlessly connecting borrowers with institutional lenders and investors to facilitate debt offerings easily and efficiently. He is a veteran of more than 15 years in the Indian debt market. A serial entrepreneur who has many firsts to his credit – from opening Indian Asset-Backed Securitization (ABS) to microfinance, unsecured business loans, and scaling up over 10 structured finance products during his career.
He has served as the Chief Business Officer of Northern Arc Capital (erstwhile IFMR Capital), and as the CEO of Northern Arc Investment Adviser Services, before co-founding Vivriti Capital and Vivriti Asset Manangement. Gaurav is also on the advisory board of fintech and consumer tech companies in India and Europe and advises the management on digital strategy and business plans. He is a member of the National Committee on Financial Inclusion and FinTech 2021-22. He has completed his master’s degree in business administration from IRMA (Institute of Rural Management Anand) and his bachelor’s degree from Delhi University.
Moulik is an experienced financial services veteran with over 18 years of expertise in revenue generation, business development, and client management. Having worked with reputable organizations such as ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, IDFC Bank, and Bank of America, Moulik has made invaluable contributions to the growth of various companies. During his tenure as CBO at Yubi Invest, Moulik played a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives that propelled the company to new heights. Now, he is focused on transforming the world of collections through 'spoctoX,' a cutting-edge platform for collections and risk mitigation.
With over 25 years of experience, Puja Srivastava brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in using technology to solve complex problems. She started her career in the USA, working for over a decade in various leadership roles where she helped develop solutions to automate debt collection using the latest advancements in areas like serverless computing, financial behavioral analytics, machine learning and AI.
Throughout her accomplished career, Puja has honed her skills in deeply understanding problems and articulating how cutting-edge technology can be leveraged to create scalable, actionable solutions. She has led technology implementations supporting over $2 billion in annual procurements and M&A processes. Puja was also instrumental in setting up processes for the educators of the first 100% Apple school in the country.
Irfan Mohammed is the Chief Business Officer- Financial Services -Yubi and a Founding Member of the Vivriti Group. Instrumental in conceptualising and implementing the concept of Yubi marketplace, he has driven its adoption, since inception and scaled it to the current INR 65,000 Cr+ volumes. Irfan has led and pioneered debt raise and due diligence for over 300 FIs across multiple asset classes over the last 12 years.
He has led many first of its kind and innovative debt structures for emerging asset classes and NBFCs. He has a deep expertise in credit underwriting, structured finance products, fintech solutions, co-lending strategy and NBFC-banking partnerships. As an industry expert, Irfan has spoken at various forums such as MFIN, Sa-dhan, NABARD, Rating agencies and CFA Society. Prior to Vivriti, Irfan was the Partner and Head of Small Business Loans and Housing Finance at Northern Arc. He has completed his Masters in Business Administration from IRMA and masters in commerce from Osmania University and is also a CFA charter holder.
